The Cultures of Energy channel focuses on the emergent intersection of humanistic scholarship and the ongoing energy crisis in the contemporary world. Growing out of the work of Rice’s Center for Energy and Environmental Research in the Human Sciences (CENHS), this channel provides a digital space for interdisciplinary conversations on the extraordinary role of "energy" in our everyday life and social relations. We aim to highlight a diversity of "short form" provocations in the public mediation of the energy humanities, so please send an email to correspondences@rice.edu if you have an idea for a contribution!
